The sitting fee covers my time, talent, gear and travel to your location. Also include is my time to edit and upload to your own personal gallery.
A typical family photo shoot will consume about 4-8 hours of my time and sometimes more.
When considering this, $150 doesn't go far.
It's actually quite simple and easy!
I use a platform called Pixieset to host my online albums and sell my images. Once your photos are uploaded, you can purchase your images directly from me through your personal online album.
Images are easily downloaded and your print images will be immediately sent to a professional lab and mailed directly to you or the address you choose.

No, you don't. However, you are highly encouraged to do so.
In digital photography, what you see on your screen isn't always what you'll get in print. Screens and printers can vary quite dramatically from what you see and what is printed.
Choosing to print your own images means you risk the photo not printing the same as it appears on your screen. Choosing to have the photographer print for you ensures that you'll get the print image they way it was designed to be.
Plus, if you're not happy with the quality of the print, I stand behind my work and will work to correct it.
Since I cannot guarantee the work of other labs or businesses, I can not stand behind their work if you're not happy.
I don't...typically. Not because I don't want to, but because there are some very good photographers out there who do.

I generally like to shoot outdoors, but have on occasion done images inside. I do have a lighting set up that includes two battery operated lights (no need for power). However, if we have the opportunity, you'll see me push to be outside if we can!
